HYPERVOLLEY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hanamori Labs, LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the game HYPERVOLLEY and the website hypervolleygame.com (together, the "Services"). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game and its online modes.

If anything here is unclear, or you want your online data removed, email [email protected].

1. The short version

2. What we collect, and when

Offline play: nothing. Settings and progress are stored only on your device.

If you play online (casual matches, ranked, or tournaments), our servers store:

Website & hosting. hypervolleygame.com and the game servers run on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and keep it secure. We do not use this to build profiles of players.

If you install HYPERVOLLEY through a store such as Google Play or the App Store, the download and your store account are handled by that store under its own privacy policy - we never see your payment details.

3. What we don't collect

4. Why we collect what we collect

5. Leaderboards and tournaments are public

Display names, country flags, ranks, and results in leaderboards and tournament brackets are shown publicly to other players. That is the purpose of those features. Only use a name you are comfortable showing in public.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. We share data only with the infrastructure provider that operates the Services on our behalf - principally Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage, security) - and, where you use a store version, the relevant platform (e.g. Google Play or Apple). We may also disclose information if required by law.

7. Where your data lives

The game servers run on Cloudflare's global network, with primary storage in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed there.

8. How long we keep data

Online records (player ID, display name, ratings, match and tournament results) are retained while the online services are active so ladders and history remain meaningful. Cloudflare security logs are short-lived. You may ask us to remove your records at any time - because your player ID is random, tell us the display name and approximate rank so we can find it.

9. Your rights

Because we don't collect accounts or contact details, the simplest control is what you choose to submit. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. To exercise them, email [email protected].

10. Children

HYPERVOLLEY is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The game asks for no personal information beyond a freely chosen display name.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the game changes materially. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
